Emergency care is available at all times. During regular office hours please call and your problem will be triaged to the most reasonable medical facility (i.e. medical office, ER).

After hours please call the office telephone number and the answering machine will give you instructions on how to page Dr. Curtin or the cover physician on call. If your call is not answered or your page is not returned promptly, please call a second time.

Many emergencies and injuries including lacerations can be handled in the office, while others may need to be treated in the emergency department.

Many after-hours urgent medical care needs can be handled in the office during regular hours at a considerably lower expense and timelier manner than in the emergency department with timely phone advice.

For life threatening emergencies, please call 911 or proceed to the closest hospital.

Dr. Curtin will admit and take care of all his inpatients and outpatients at Noyes Memorial Hospital. There may be circumstances when we are away or sick and thus may need to utilize other physicians for coverage.
