Dr. Daniel Curtin is life long resident of New York. He finished his undergraduate degree at LeMoyne College in Syracuse and his medical degree at Georgetown University, and completed his family medicine residency at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. In 2001, Dr. Curtin came to Wayland and worked in the STHA Wayland office. Since founding Wayland Family & Sports Medicine, P.C. in 2006, Dr. Curtin has provided comprehensive, convenient, modern, quality family medical care to Northern Steuben / Southern Livingston county region with specific emphasis in the Wayland – Cohocton area.. Dr. Curtin and his wife, Michelle, live in Wayland. His daugters, Meghan and Mackenzie have now moved. Meghan is now pursuing her PhD in microimmunology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Mackenzie will graduate from the United States Military Academy with degree in chemical engineering in May 2022. |
ERIN DABNEY, FNP
Erin Dabney is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who partners closely with Dr. Daniel Curtin. Erin gradauted from Wayland-Cohocton and attended D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Erin then pursued her interest in nursing working in multiple facilities as a travelling registered nurse. During this time Erin made the decision to continue her education and received her Master of Science Family Nurse Practitioner from Utica College. Erin and her husband, Dailon, live in Pine City, NY with their two children, Kylie and Lahna. Erin brings empathy, an easy-going communication style, and a sweet sense of humor, making it easy for her to talk to patients and family members. |
Since 2001 Dr Curtin has been the head team physician for Alfred University providing comprehensive health care services, injury evaluation and treatment plans, weekly onsite clinics and game coverage for all students-athletes participating in NCAA D III intercollegiate athletics. Alfred University has a coordinated multidisciplinary health care team, involving certified athletic trainers and Dr Curtin, providing comprehensive care for students athletes. Dr. Curtin is also adjunct faculty in the Division of Athletic Training.
